About Us

Using our Hirox 3D Digital Microscope, our team has been working on a 10 billion pixel large scan of Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring". Over one night, we scanned the entire painting and have created a custom website to view the painting in ultra-high levels of detail. Click the picture or here to play around with the web app and take a peek at the 3D scanned segments. The goal of this large of a scan was to ensure the future preservation of the art and others like it. We're grateful to be able to be a part of preserving history with our Hirox Digital Microscope systems. The Hirox Digital Microscope is a system with a main unit, ultra-clear lenses attached to a camera with precisely controllable stands, usability-rich applications, and comfortable observation with 2D or 3D measurement capabilities.

We create custom solutions for many of our museum clients depending on their needs. We offer custom stages and stands such as a moving T stand enabling paintings to be scanned without needing to be moved or taken off the wall. We have worked with 3D printing companies to enlarge and print sections of a painting based on our 3D data so that you can feel and experience each detail of the artwork from an entirely new perspective.

The Hirox-USA team is always at your disposal to answer any of your questions and queries!
