Whether you're interested in creating compelling descriptions of your work for funders, developing pitches for journalists, or communicating with prospective clients, writing for the public is an essential skill set! Join the Outreach Subcommittee to practice and hone your outreach writing skills with your peers, guided by Rosa Lowinger. Please come prepared to write in this session and share with your fellow attendees. You will not need to bring any samples of writing to this session. Registration is free, but space is limited. 

Rosa Lowinger

RLA Conservation

Rosa Lowinger is an author and a conservator, in private practice working on sculpture and objects for 35 years. A graduate of the Institute of Fine Arts, she is a Fellow of AIC and the American Academy in Rome and writes regularly for popular media about conservation. She is the author of Tropicana Nights: The Life and Times of the Legendary Cuban Nightclub (Harcourt, 2006) and  Dwell Time: A Memoir of Art, Exile, and Repair (Row House Publishing, 2023.)
