Join them to share your ideas, feedback, and perspective! There are 9 key topic areas within Held in Trust: - Field Investment, Infrastructure, and Sustainability - Climate Change and Environmental Impact - Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility - Collection Care and Preventive Conservation - Philosophy and Ethics in Conservation - Education, Professional Development, Leadership - Engagement, Communication, Storytelling - Science and Materials - Digital Technology: Research and Practice Working groups, led by the HIT Steering Committee, are developing reports on these topics, which will be compiled into the project's final report. As a way of quickly sharing report highlights and findings, each group has developed a brief "topline condensation," which attendees should read before the discussion session. The topline condensations can be found here: https://bit.ly/3ONnAN4 During the session, the topics will be briefly introduced, and attendees will be placed randomly in breakout rooms for discussion of any topic of interest to the group. The following questions will by used by the HIT Steering Committee members and project team to guide conversation: - What struck you as the overarching or universal themes in these documents? - Are there omissions? Should the focus be different in some way? - Would you emphasize or add other aspects/subjects? - Which areas would you prioritize? - Are there additional projects you would suggest? - What proposed projects seem most compelling and/or fundable? - Are there collaborators/partners/innovators in this subject area who aren't represented? This session will not be recorded.
