David Carmicheal

David Carmicheal is State Archivist of Pennsylvania. He served previously as State Archivist of Georgia, and Director of Records and Archives for Westchester County, NY. He is a past president of the Council of State Archivists and a Distinguished Fellow of the Society of American Archivists. He led the national Intergovernmental Preparedness for Essential Records (IPER) project to protect government records and is the author of Implementing the Incident Command System at the Institutional Level: A Handbook for Libraries, Archives, Museums, and Other Cultural Institutions.
